TestBench-Live is a stand-alone product that uses a subset of
the technology in TestBench for iSeries. TestBench-Live sits on the live
machine and uses data rules to validate and test database
content without bringing systems offline. TestBench-Live allows
database managers to quickly and easily run regular data
integrity checks and avoid data corruption without impeding
access to data while under test.

Integrity cases
Integrity cases lie at the heart of TestBench-Live. They rely on
user-set data rules to enable data health checks to be carried
out regularly on live data. This means that data in the live
environment is constantly checked and validated. Rules and
checks are set manually, so they can be amended whenever
necessary. TestBench-Live generates integrity and job tracking
reports, so database managers can take these reports and
identify the discrepancies within each record that need to be
adjusted.

all other respects, TestBench-Live is a stand-alone product that
sits on the live machine and operates entirely independently of
any other Original Software product.
